Motor insulation degrades at high temperatures; thus, Motors@Work generates alerts if the ambient temperature where a motor is located exceeds the maximum allowed according to the manufacturer’s specifications (most commonly, 40°C / 105°F).
Use this field on the Measurements screen to record the present ambient temperature. Unit of measure defaults to your company preferences for SI (°C) or imperial units (°F).
